What is the RAPID Program? The Rural Area Program on Investment for Development (RAPID) is an initiative by the Bank of Industry (BOI) aimed at fostering sustainable development, job creation, and economic empowerment in rural communities throughout Nigeria. It provides financial support, business advisory services, and training programs to rural entrepreneurs, particularly micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

Who is eligible to apply for the RAPID Program? Duly registered Enterprises and Cooperative Societies operating in rural or economically disadvantaged areas of Nigeria are eligible to apply.

KWASSIP releases Applications link for Kwapreneur 5.0

The Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP) is excited to announce that the application portal for Kwapreneur 5.0. Under the leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, this initiative aims to empower young entrepreneurs in Kwara State

From May 20, 2024, to June 19, 2024, young entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas can apply for Kwapreneur 5.0. The previous edition, Kwapreneur 4.0, supported 367 entrepreneurs with ₦229,565,000, highlighting the program’s success.

Google for Startups Growth Academy
AI for Education is a three-month hybrid program dedicated to supporting high-potential startups in the education industry using AI technology to grow and innovate responsibly.

After the initial three months of core content, beneficiaries of the Google Startup Academy will continue to receive product support and mentorship from Google to help them address their challenges.

Transforming Nigerian Youths
The Transforming Nigerian Youths program aims to create a network of entrepreneurial and managerial change-makers specifically youths and women across the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector in Nigeria.

This program is brought to Nigeria by the Young Africa Works-Mastercard Foundation in partnership with the Enterprise Development Centre, Pan-Atlantic University.

EDC is teaming up with the Foundation to build the capacity of 40,000 MSMEs with special focus on agriculture and creative sectors especially women-led businesses in Nigeria. The training will be delivered via EDC’s online learning platform and IVR( Interactive Voice Response) to enable all learners to take part in the lessons on the go wherever they are.
