Barutem communities embarked on its journey on September 1, 2023. with the vision of creating a digital space that fosters connection, collaboration, and empowerment among its members. The origins of the website trace back to the collective aspirations of the Barutem community, seeking a platform where Barubibu could engage, share ideas, and contribute to each other's growth and well-being.
In its early stages, the concept of the website was conceived through collaborative discussions and feedback sessions within the team of Barutem community. There was a palpable sense of enthusiasm and anticipation as members eagerly awaited the platform's development.
As development progressed the designer and developer (Founder of Barutem Communities), and community moderators worked tirelessly to bring the vision of the Barutem community website to life. They meticulously crafted features and functionalities tailored to the unique needs and interests of the community, ensuring an intuitive and enriching user experience.
Throughout the development phase, the team actively sought input and feedback from community members, fostering a sense of ownership and inclusivity in the website's evolution. This collaborative approach not only enriched the platform but also strengthened the bonds within the Barutem community
On February 3rd, 2024. Barutem community (barutem.com) witnessed a historic event—the launch of its much-anticipated community website and its YouTube Channel. The launch event was a momentous occasion, marked by the presence of distinguished guests and representative of the four districts who joined the zoom meeting to contribute and celebrate
the dawn of a new era in digital connectivity and community engagement.
The hosting responsibilities fell upon the capable shoulders of the esteemed team behind the Barutem community website, comprising the Founder, Coordinator, Secretary and the Moderator/PRO who worked tirelessly to bring the vision of a unified online platform to fruition. Their dedication and commitment were evident as they welcomed guests with warmth and enthusiasm, setting the tone for a memorable occasion.
Among the notable guests in attendance were Mal Zakariya Kilishi (Yashikira District), Hon. Idris Musa Buko (Ilesha District), Mal Suleiman Abubakar Danseko (Okuta District) and Umar Gunu Abass (Gwanara District) were the representatives of the four districts of Barutem community who shared their contribution, advice and support during the meeting.
Adding further prestige to the event was the esteemed presence of Honourable Minister of Youth Development Dr Jamila Bio Ibrahim whose commitment to empowering young people and fostering innovation has earned her admiration and respect across the nation. Her participation underscored the importance of digital platforms in advancing youth engagement and participation in community affairs.
