The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) is mandated to design and implement programs to combat mass unemployment, articulate policies aimed at developing work programs with labor-intensive potentials, and implement any other policies as laid down by the governing Board established under its enabling Act.
- Entrepreneurship: promoting entrepreneurship to enhance market access to create jobs
Employment. - Job creation: Creating opportunities for sustainable employment through various programs.
- Vocational Skills: enhancing vocational skills development among the youth and undergraduates
This job creation initiative of the NDE which is in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda will aiso provide start-up Capital, equipment and working tool at the end of the training while other participants will be linked to credit granting Institutions to access loans to commence smail and medium scale businesses.
